Little Shop – Memories

Little Shop – Memories being the 5-th game in the series continues a good tradition and brings another quality hidden object game.

In this game you are supposed to move to a new store. While cleaning the attic you face a number of memories, each of which is a different hidden object scene. Completing each scene brings you a new keepsake. Number 15 seems to be important in this game – you’ll search 15 attic locations with 4 hidden object memory scenes. Each memory scene has 15 hidden objects for you to find. During the game you’ll return to each of 12 unique memory scenes 5 times, and you’ll get more story detail as you progress. Bonus Polaroid snapshots will go to your scrapbook, so you’ll be able to examine them at a later time.

You won’t get bored as during the gameplay the position of some items and the Find Lists may change. On the other hand, beware of the tricky hint system. The primary hints will show you what the object looks like, but not where it is, which is unusual for this genre but is a kind of Little Shop trademark.

There are 16 mini-games, most of which are hidden object variations. Those are a nice way to keep you entertained. Once you complete the game try Blitz mode when you try to find hidden object as quickly as possible. For adrenaline junkies like me it’s a great bonus!

Fashion Assistant Game

Do you remember Devil Wears Prada? Did you like it? If so, Fashion Assistant is a hidden object game will allow you to role-play to your heart content. You will be playing Julia, a personal assistant to a bad-tempered fashion ruthless magazine editor.

Once the master book for an upcoming fashion collection gets stolen you must do your best to discover its whereabouts, preferably before your boss realizes its absence. At the same time you will have to continue pretending at work by catering to her boss’s every whim, finding hidden object after hidden object in a variety of cluttered scenes.

As usual for such games you’ll get a list of items to locate in each scene. Prepare to play in the long haul as the game is untimed, and you will get unlimited recharging hints.

Each hidden object scene contains one inventory puzzle. You’ll have mini-games too. They are a little different from the standard. You will be arranging objects in a limited space so that nothing touches, arranging appointments in a date book according to specific criteria, etc.

Useful tips to remember is when searching try even the smallest or artfully color-blended hidden object.

In general, Fashion Assistant is one of typical HOGs with a fashion twist. It’s well done and offers a few hours of search and discovery to entertain you.

It is a good hidden object game with elements of adventure and with plenty of puzzles. You will not need to play the previous game to catch up with this one.

In this game you will be looking for stolen treasures in order to help two Ancient Egyptian lovers to reunite. Such story allows a lot of Egyptian-themed scenes where you can hunt for hidden object to your heart content. I really liked the laid-back atmosphere because the game is untimed and there was no penalty for incorrect clicks.

Mind, that in this game finding hidden object-s from time to time will be tough. They color-blended the objects into the scenes so don’t repeat my mistake and be attentive!

There also inventory puzzles to solve. You will be able to complete those with handy items you’ll encounter. Collect the junk! It’ll be valuable later. Extra hints are available – you will notice the weird sparkle. Remember, blue means you may collect the item right now, red – leave it for later.

The art is somewhat peculiar but still brightly colored and fun. Some of items were layered on the backgrounds but were rather well drawn nonetheless. The game is on the short side which is fairly common for a hidden object game but not overly so. Overall, you’d better try it yourself.

Titanic Mystery. 1912

It seems lately there are hundreds of topics to make a hidden object game into. Check this out – on the 100-th anniversary of Titanic crash a new ship starts its voyage under the name of Titanic 2. What was supposed to be a safe trip without victims and disturbance but full of modern luxuries starts innocently enough. Once you embark the ship though the trouble starts. In your cabin you find a mysterious diary and a letter telling you to find hidden pages of the diary or the bomb will go off. And somebody will be watching you!

That agenda sends you on your merry way to find every hidden object and crack every puzzle. For example in every location you will need to discover 10 similar items, then find hidden object, and after that having all clues you’ll get to solve the puzzle.

As a bonus you are offered a bunch of wallpapers. Those don’t come easy you will have to complete each level to get one.

For history geeks and ordinary gamers alike learning more facts about Titanic history will be a pleasant addition. For example I never knew that the ticket used to cost $4.700 (around $ 50 000 nowadays)! This and other pleasant trivia will make playing this hidden object game even sweeter.

It is one of those hidden object adventure games when you play the cop. In this case you will be Inspector Jacques Lamont and your job is to find clues and apprehend jewel thieves. This game has an interesting local colour which will help you to get acquainted with New Orleans and know a little more about the city.

As you are a detective the search for current hidden object will bring you to people’s work places and homes. You will be collecting jewels and clues for concealed objects. Local mini-games will from time to time bring novelty in your puzzle-solving and search for hidden object. Those mini-games are implemented with a twist, so same old ones like connect the pipes or untangle the lines won’t bore you much. There is also that weird one with a player piano that I remember. Overall you can skip mini-games but they are interesting just enough so you wouldn’t want to.

The graphics – something similar to old comics, adds a little more uniqueness to this hidden objects game. It is not that novel as far as hidden object games go but look good enough comparing to others. To be fair, the game is good sized and the music is okay too. On the whole this game is a fun way to spend the time and will last for a while.
